Return Policy

Please open and inspect your order within 2 days of receipt. If you need to initiate a return, please complete the RMA Form and check your email for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning products. Returns sent COD will not be accepted. After your RMA number is received, please return the item(s) in original packaging, and include the RMA inside the package.

General Product Returns

You must have an RMA Number to return any merchandise

  • Eligible Time Period: 15 days from delivery date
  • Non-Eligible Products: caulks, foams, mastic, tapes, and items not in original condition

We want you to be satisfied with the products purchased from us, but we are unable to refund products that have been installed, for which the original packaging has been destroyed, or that are otherwise not in original condition and resalable. You are responsible for returning products in a safe, good condition, so please pack returns carefully. You may want to ensure returns of valuable merchandise. Upon receipt, a credit equal to the product purchase price will be issued to you through the same payment method you used to pay for the order. A 15% restocking fee applies to most lighting and electronic products as well as for conservation kits. A 25% restocking fee applies to TCP lighting products.
Note: In order to keep our prices low we are unable to issue a refund for any return postage fees. Both the original shipping fee and the return postage fee are non-refundable. If you received free shipping in your original order $4.95 (or the actual cost if higher) will be deducted from your refund amount. The buyer is always responsible for return shipping costs. We will not refund any shipping fees.

Incorrectly Shipped Orders

Eligible Time Period is 2 business days from delivery date.

Depending on the original method of shipment, we will either issue a UPS Call Tag or send a prepaid return address label for you to return the incorrectly shipped merchandise. We will ship a new order for the correct merchandise within one business day.

Damaged Product Returns

Eligible Time Period is 2 business days from delivery date.

If an order has arrived damaged you should notify Town Square Energy within 2 business days. All packaging should be kept because the carrier may choose to inspect the damaged goods and shipping box at the delivery address. We may or may not request return of the damaged goods. If we do request that the goods be returned, Town Square Energy will either issue a UPS call tag or provide a prepaid return address label to be used for returning those items damaged in transit. Town Square Energy will replace the product(s) at no charge. We will not be responsible for breakage of items shipped outside of the US/Canada.

Defective Product Returns

Eligible Time Period is 1 month from delivery date (unless otherwise noted).

Depending on the original method of shipment, we will either issue a UPS Call Tag or send a prepaid return address label to you for return of the merchandise. A credit will be issued when the defective items are received. You are not responsible for the cost of return of defective merchandise when a UPS Call Tag or prepaid return address label is used. If the merchandise fails during the manufacturer's product warranty, but after one year from the purchase date, Town Square Energy reserves the right to refer you to the manufacturer for replacement of the failed product.
If the total amount of the product for replacement for either damage or defective, is less than ten ($10), a refund, rather than a replacement will be offered to the customer. Shipping small one item packages severely increases the percentage chances for damage.
